TERMS OF TRADE

ORDERS AND PAYMENTS:

On receipt of orders, Proforma Invoices are issued and then sent to customer for 50% down payment. The balance 50% is paid on shipment.

SAMPLES AND PRICES:

Our prices are FOB from Mombasa Airport, Mombasa Port and Mombasa Post Office.  Sample orders can be made, however, we charge for all our samples.

DOCUMENTATION:

We process all documents for export and our agent or we make shipments. We enclose EUR 1 forms for European Countries and GSP forms for all other countries, which will allow our customers duty free importation.  For parcel post we enclose a delivery note, GSP or EUR 1 form and a copy Invoice in the parcel post and inform the customer by email of the date of shipment.

For Air Freight we enclose a packing list in the boxes and send separately attached to the copy Airway Bill, the packing list, original Air Bill, copy invoice and EUR 1 form.

SHIPMENT:

Goods up to approx. 20 kgs are shipped by Air parcel post and usually arrive within three weeks. Consignments exceeding 20 kgs are usually sent by Air Freight and arrive within three to seven days.

FREIGHT CHARGES

We dispatch consignment on freight collect basis, which means that we are not to pay any sum to the forwarder. He will claim the charges from importer (you) or from your agent on arrival of goods. This only applies to Air Freight and Sea Freight shipments.

DELIVERY TIME

The delivery time depends on the order volume. Due to documentation, the minimum delivery time after receipt of payment is eight weeks for orders exceeding US Dollars 5,000.00.  The expected delivery time will be mentioned on the acknowledgement form.

PACKAGING:

All Jewellery and clothes are packed in polythene bags and labeled with our code numbers: Gold/silver plated Jewellery are mounted on decorative cardboard and sealed in polythene bags. Consignments are shipped in carton boxes dimensions 44x58x33cm
